From Victoria Falls
To Chobe
Day 1
Arrival at the Victoria Falls International Airport. The driver will be waiting for you at the airport to take you to Ilala lodge hotel which is a 4-star hotel. The guide will help you to check in and after that you will rest awaiting to go for a sunset cruise along the Upper Zambezi. Zambezi River is the 4 th largest river in Africa. Here you will be having a chance to view the hippos and the sixth super predator, the Nile crocodile in the Zambezi River and hear birds’ sounds of different species of birds. On the cruise, you will be served with snacks and drinks. This will take you up to 1800hours. 1830hours you will be picked to go for dinner at the boma.A “place of eating”. 1900hours we will be arriving at the boma . It is a night of fun combined with buffet guaranteed for satisfaction in a movie style. This is a carnival atmosphere with drum beating and the cultural dance. Be ready for the good night. Local specialities such as warthog and mopane worms is served. Be armed with appetite. This will take us up to 2200hours, but once you are ready you may leave for your hotel. The driver will be waiting.
Day 2
0700hours be ready for the guided tour of the falls. The Victoria Falls is the one of the Seven natural Wonders of the World. The falls are about 1.8km long andabout70 – 108metres deep vertical chasm. About 550 million litres of water cascading this vertical chasm every minute on peak season. Pathways in there are made in a way of accommodating even the groups. Has about 17 vantage points from which to view the waterfall closely. The main four are, the devil’s cataract, the main falls, the horse’s shoe and the rainbow falls. This will take us up to 10:00hours. 11:00hoursto12:00hours touring the bridge. 12:00hours – 14:00hours Lunch time at the Lookout café. 15:00hours Lion interaction. The lion walk is an encounter with lions in which you are accorded the chance to interact with lions under the conduct of the guide. Where else can you walk with the lions. 17:00hours we are coming back to the hotel and we have dinner at the 4-star hotel, the Ilala hotel.
Day 3
06{00hours packed breakfast on the 70km road to Botswana. The guide will assist you at the borders. You then enter full day game drive at the Chobe National Park. Chobe has a lot of game from elephants, buffaloes, lions, hyenas, wildebeest, leopards, cheetahs and many more. With Chobe you will be satisfied. Dinner at Chobe lodge.
Day 4
Enter morning game drive. Cats mostly move or hunt early morning hours and late afternoon hours avoiding heat of the day. You will be in Chobe National Parkupto10:00hours. 12:00hours you will be picked at the border by the Zimbabwean guide and to help you in between the borders. Arrive in Victoria Falls at 13:00 hours. Lunch at Ilala hotel. 14:30hours up to 19hours you will be at leisure at the hotel . Dinnerat1900hours.
