Day 1
Arrive at the Victoria Falls International Airport, our guide will be waiting for you at the airport. Feel the welcome. He will drive you 20km to the lodge. He will check you in the lodge. The lodge is about 1 ½ km to town and about 3km to the main falls. After checking in you will relax at the lodge waiting for 1630 hours to be picked up and go to the sunset cruise on the Upper Zambezi River. The Zambezi River offers you the chance to see the hippos and the crocodiles. Also, elephants may be seen bathing. Again, the chance for bird watchers to see the different species of birds. This activity will take us to 1800 hours. We will then pick you up to go to the Boma. The Boma is a “place of eating”. A night of fun, combined with a buffet guaranteed for satisfaction in a movie style. This is a carnival atmosphere. Be ready to be equipped with appetite, local specialities such as warthog and mopane worms are on offer. The Boma drumming season will take place in the late evening. It will go up to 2230 hours. Then we will pick you up to go to the lodge.
Day 2
0600 hours morning game drive in the Zambezi National Park up to 10:00hours. This park covers about 56 000 hectares bordering the Zambezi River north upwards. Animals found therein are elephants, buffaloes, elands, kudus, impalas, zebras, lions, leopards, cheetahs and many more. Zambezi River also has a variety of fish ranging from bream to the fighting tiger. Facilities offered thereinare2-bedroomed lodge, 4 camping sites, and 25 picnic sites. This will take us up to 1000 hours. 1100 hours we go to the helicopter flight. Here we are to fly viewing the falls on air. This change will allow us to view both the Zambian side and the Zimbabwean side. David Livingstone said scenes of this nature need to be gazed upon by angels in the air. Then we will go for lunch from 1200hours to 1400hours. 1430 hours we will enter the guided tour of the falls up to 1700hours. The falls are about 1.8km long and about 70 – 108 metres deep in vertical chasm, cascading about 550 million litres of water per minute in the peak season. Having about 17vantage points from which to view the falls closely. The main four are the Devil’s Cataract, Main Falls, Rainbow Falls and the Horseshoe Falls. When walking along the pathways, you are like you are in a jungle. The constant roar of water welcomes you, and many bird sounds are all over.
Day 3
Lion interaction from 0600hours to 1000hours where else can you walk with the lions except Victoria Falls? Experience this unique adventure. You will have guides who are to teach you more about the lifestyle of the most feared predator, the king of the jungle. After 1000hours the tour ends. Transfer to Victoria Falls International Airport.
